Teaser Tuesday #8

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should by Reading. My teaser is from the Classic Far From the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy.

Far From the Madding Crowd
Amazon
"So the chatter was all on her side. There is a loquacity that tells nothing, which was Bathsheba's; and there is a silence which says much: that was Gabriel's."
~ p.163, "Far From the Madding Crowd" by Thomas Hardy

Anyone can play along Teaser Tuesday! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

What Ho, Automaton! by Chris Dolley
This is a fun mystery read. I received the book for review and of course I don't want the author to be waiting forever.

The Burning Sky (Halcyon #1) by Joseph Robert Lewis
Another review book, a sci-fi fantasy, I'm scheduling to read in Fall. This book has sequel too so I'm a bit excited about it.
