This week's topic:
"Top Ten Books that are on the Top of My TBR List for Fall"
1 What Ho, Automaton!
by Chris Dolley
This is a fun mystery read. I received the book for review and of course I don't want the author to be waiting forever.
2 The Burning Sky (Halcyon #1)
by Joseph Robert Lewis
2 The Burning Sky (Halcyon #1)
Another review book, a sci-fi fantasy, I'm scheduling to read in Fall. This book has sequel too so I'm a bit excited about it.
3 The Return of the Native by Thomas Hardy
3 The Return of the Native by Thomas Hardy
I realized I haven't read a Classic in a long while and so I purchased this book from a huge discount sale I went to one Sunday.
4 Evening Class
by Maeve Binchy
4 Evening Class
I haven't read any of Maeve Binchy's books. Actually I went to look for Maeve Binchy's Minding Frankie which is on my wishlist too. I couldn't find that and bought this one instead.
5 To Kill a Mockingbird
by Harper Lee
5 To Kill a Mockingbird
Actually I've half finished this book. But I got busy in more important things and the book remained neglected for a long while. Part of my fall plans is to finish all the books I've been neglecting since the start of the year.
6 The Sky Is Falling
by Sidney Sheldon
6 The Sky Is Falling
When people talk about Sidney Sheldon, I feel quiet speechless. That's because I've never read the author. So I'll lay my hands upon my first ever Sidney Sheldon book.
7 The Rainmaker
by John Grisham
7 The Rainmaker
I've been longing to read this book by John Grisham. I haven't read many books by the author, so I'm going to hunt his books down in book sales.
8 The Last 10 Seconds
by Simon Kernick
8 The Last 10 Seconds
This mystery book was officially recommended to me by my younger sisters so it's in my top 10 to-read books. Luckily, I won't need to go looking around for it, I can simply borrow it from my sister:)
9 Petchy Maligula
by Stan Carter
9 Petchy Maligula
This is one book in my TBR with the most unusual title. Don't you think so? I won this book in a giveaway and didn't get time to read it.

I received this book in another giveaway quite a while ago. It's another sci-fi fiction I'm planning to read in Fall.
Ooh, I always recommend To Kill a Mockingbird to everyone, I hope you enjoy it! :)
ReplyDeleteAside from to Kill A Mockingbird, I don't think I've ever even heard of these books! Must go investigate! I have read several Sidney Sheldon books and enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by @ the Broke and the Bookish!
I want to read The Rainmaker too. I haven't read any John Grisham books, but he's on my list, just not for this year.
ReplyDeleteTo Kill a Mocking Bird is an amazing book! I hope you enjoy it ;)
