Top Ten Tuesday - Goals/Resolutions for 2014

Weekly meme hosted at The Broke and the Bookish. It's about making bookish lists and sharing them.

Top Ten Goals/Resolutions for 2014 (in no particular order)

1.  Read all the books I've been recommended by people, colleagues, friends, class fellows, and siblings. Check out some of the books I want to read this year.

2. Blog. This my fourth blogging year but I've been on and off since I started the blog. So, this year I want to devote my time and energy to my blog and keep it alive.

3. Tweet. My twitter account has been dormant for a long while. So, I want to tweet and network with other bloggers. Follow me @kero_91, I'll follow back.

4. Write a gratitude journal. Writing a gratitude journal is a great way to appreciate things around you. If you know a site where you can maintain an online gratitude diary then drop me a link,as my favorite site http://thnx4.org/ is on a hiatus.

5. Finish e-book review copies. So I admit I'm bad at meeting deadlines. I want to finish all the pending review e-copies and other ebooks which I won from several giveaways.

6. Save money. I need not explain this. Saving money can help you in the long-term, you never know.

7. Wake up early. I want to go to bed early and wake up early and feel the morning breeze and hear the birds sing and start my work early and stay happy. I've often observed that when I wake up a little late I'm not in a very good mood and it spoils my day at work.

8. Read my unread books. I love buying books, but in the last 3 years I've accumulated a lot of books which are lying unread in my cupboard so I want to finish them off.

9. Schedule my blog posts. I don't want to be haphazard and want to schedule all my posts and reviews beforehand. I want to make good use of google calendar.

  1. Great list! I also want to dedicate more time to Twitter - my account is automatically updated when I post something on my blog and so I've been kind of lazy and haven't tweeted anything else.

    1. My blog posts are automatically updated too but those tweets look real robotic to me.

  3. This is a great list of goals, but I especially like the gratitude journal idea. You should blog about that when you have it established :)

  4. Although I would never set my goal to wake up early, I unfortunately have to wake up at 5am everyday so that is NOT fun and I get what you mean about when you wake up a little late, your whole day if often off... so yeah getting sleep has to be the best goal anyone set ever! (and it is one of mine for 2014)
