Book Blogger Hop: April 19th - 25th

Welcome to the New Blogger Hop, thanks to Billy from Rambling of Cofee Addicted Writer. I have been away from the blogging world for a couple of months that I never realized when did the Hop end and was relaunched again. Anyway, the Hop is here, thanks to Billy again.
This Week's Question:
What was the last book you read that made you cry?

My Answer:
I can't express in words how much I cried when I read Jodi Picoult's My Sister's Keeper .
The book was recommended by my sister. There were so many incidences in the book which made me cry. I cried at Sara's helplessness in saving her daughter, I cried at Jesse's feelings of being ignored as a child, and finally I cried at Anna's died. Following are some (not all) of my favorite quotes from the book.
"You don't love someone because they're perfect, you love them in spite of the fact that they're not."
"Let me tell you this: if you meet a loner, no matter what they tell you, it's not because they enjoy solitude. It's because they have tried to blend into the world before, and people continue to disappoint them."
"The bottom line is that we never fall for the people we're supposed to."
"I have only known her for two years. But if you took every memory, every moment, if you stretched them end to end-they'd reach forever."
“When you care more if someone else lives than you do about yourself- is that what [love is]?"
