This Week's Question:
How do you organize your books to be read?
My Answer:
I don't have much space in my home to store books. I buy books and squeeze them in a tiny shelf. I don't arrange them in any reading order, but pick out books depending upon my mood. If I have recently finished a thriller or crime fiction, I might as well pick a light book as my next read. If I don't enjoy a book much I give it away, that way I never get run out of shelf space. But if a book turns out to be a favorite, I never give it away ;)

We've stashed books in the basement and the attic, but the time has come when I've realized I can't keep every book I buy. I'm finally getting rid of books. But I still don't have a good system for organizing them.
ReplyDeleteYeah, that's pretty difficult to decide sometimes whether you want to keep a book or give it away and get rid of it. There's always isn't too much space for books.
DeleteI always keep a book too when it is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI use an Excel spreadsheet to keep my books in the order I need to read them.

My Blog Hop Answer
That's really smart and organized:) Thanks for dropping by my blog.
DeleteOne of my friends also have one small bookshelf in her bedroom and she doesn't have much books and her bookshelf is very organised. Despite her having so little books she does read quite a bit, so I think that's definitely one of the important thing of staying organised, is to cull your collection to your most loved books!

Thanks, Angelica, for stopping by my blog. I would also like to have a bookshelf of myself which I could decorate, but in my current house, it's impossible.
