First of all, I'm really sorry I wasn't available last Monday. My absence was partly because I had problem with my internet connection and partly because I was stuck in an exam. I have two more to go on Wednesday, but I saved my FM post in drafts sharp by Saturday. So here it goes,

Mar 7: What is some advice your mother or father gave you that you remember and/or still use to this day?

"We have two ears to hear and one mouth to speak"

Something I could never bring into practice. I was way talkative until my teens but then tried to control my habit. Result: Either I never talk with anyone, or (if I do speak) I babble on and on...

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?

Mar 7: If you could invite 5 other people for dinner and conversation, who would be on the guest list?  A famous person, a favorite author, someone who shares one of your hobbies or passions, etc.  Do you have a question for them?  (If you want to include the obvious people, that's okay, but maybe there are some other individuals who might enjoy a night out.)
Well, I really like this question and here goes my guest list:

J K Rowling -- I have an endless list of questions to ask her about the Harry Potter series.

John Grisham -- He's one of my favorite authors. I haven't read all of his books but I'm 100% sure that none of his books can disappoint me.

Jamie Oliver -- I want to scare him with my horrible cooking. Ha, ha, ha.

Sami Yusuf -- I don't know exactly what I would ask him. I just want to meet him.

Parajunkee -- One of the book bloggers I adore.

Splurge vs Steal

Mar 7:  List 5 things you are willing to spend your hard-earned cash on and 5 things you would rather steal (hypothetically of course) than waste your money on.  (we already know doctors, insurance, and taxes are down right painful.)

Splurge:

Books-- Ever since I became a true bookaholic, I've started saving for books.

Chocolates & Fries/Chips-- Things I can't live without! I love potatoes and chocolates. I'm not weight conscious!

Earrings-- It's the only piece of jewelry I like. I love dangle earrings!

Shoes-- Some sneakers and slingbacks.

Donation-- Of course, you must give back to the society.

Steal:

Handbags-- I'm never interested in buying handbags. T

Clothing-- Buying clothing takes the most time when you go shopping.

Magazines-- Since it's not entirely useful to me, I'd steal the few pages I want to read.

Medicine-- I hate medicines and I hate to buy them.
